Bosch washer not heating or overheating the water
An NTC sensor is a thermistor whose resistance changes with temperature. It sits in the tub, often fitted into the heating element, and the control board reads its resistance to decide when to switch the heater on and off. Fitting the NTC sensor
Unplug the washer and turn off the taps before removing any panels. Find the sensor near the heating element, which is reached from the front or back of the machine depending on the model. Note how it's seated, pull off the connector, fit the new sensor so it sits fully home and reconnect the plug firmly. Run a warm wash to confirm the water heats.
