612768-genuine-bosch-guide
612768 Genuine Guide for Bosch, Siemens, Neff Appliances, BSH 00612768 Replacement Guide Part, Buy by Part Number

Guide 612768, written in full as 00612768, is a genuine BSH part for Bosch, Siemens and Neff appliances that list this number. A guide keeps a moving part on track, for example a basket, drawer, door rod or hose. Our record only gives the name, without the appliance or position, so please confirm it against the parts list for your model, or send us your E-Nr, before ordering.

When an appliance guide breaks

Guides are usually small moulded plastic parts that hold something in line as it moves, or keep it from rubbing on another component. Because they're small, they're easy to overlook until one snaps. Typical signs are a basket or drawer that jumps off its runners, a door that drifts or catches, rattling during operation, or a part that has started rubbing and leaving wear marks. Replacing a broken guide early can save the more expensive part it protects.

Part details

Genuine BSH part 612768

Also written 00612768

Guide for BSH group appliances

Appliance and position not recorded

Fitting the guide

Make sure the appliance is switched off at the wall. Find where the guide sits using your parts list, and look at how it clips, slides or screws in before removing it. Plastic tabs become brittle with age, so release them gently. Fit the new guide in the same orientation and move the related part through its full travel to check it runs smoothly.

Questions about this part

What is a guide used for?

It depends on the appliance.
