When an LG top loader stops emptying, the drain pump is the usual suspect. This genuine LG pump, 5859EA1006G, is linked to 5859EA1006S and rated at 220-240V, 50Hz and 30W. It is listed for 30 LG top load washers, from older WF-T and WT-H models such as the WF-T653A and WT-H755A through to the WTG8532WH, WTG9532WH and WT-R852. The motor can be turned on the pump body if its orientation doesn't match your old pump.
LG top loader not draining or showing an OE error?
At the end of each wash and rinse, the drain pump pulls water out of the tub and pushes it through the drain hose. If the impeller is jammed by a coin, hairpin or sock, or the motor has burnt out, the water stays put. You might see a tub full of water at the end of the cycle, clothes left soaking wet, a long pause before the spin, a humming noise with no water moving, or an OE error on the display. Check the drain hose for kinks and the pump inlet for debris before deciding the pump has failed.

Fitting tips for the LG drain pump
Unplug the washer, turn off the taps and bail out as much water as you can before tipping it. Have towels and a tray ready, as the hoses hold water. If the new pump's orientation doesn't match the old one, undo the three screws holding the motor, rotate it 180 degrees and refit the screws. Run a drain and spin to check for leaks.

Not necessarily. On this pump the motor can be rotated. Remove the three motor screws, turn the motor 180 degrees and screw it back together so it lines up with the mounting in your machine.
