It holds roasting dishes, cake tins and trays, and replaces a shelf that has gone missing, bent or rusted. We don't have a model or size list on file, so check the number on your parts list, or send us the oven's E-Nr and we'll confirm it before you order.

Choosing the right wire shelf for a BSH oven

A wire shelf is the basic rack your cookware sits on, sliding into the side runners or the embossed levels of the oven cavity. BSH racks are shaped to fit a particular cavity width and depth, and many have a raised edge and stops that keep them from tipping or pulling straight out. A shelf that's too small slips off the runners, while one that's too big won't slide in at all. That's why matching the part number matters more than the look. Shelves are often replaced after being lost in a move, bent, or damaged by oven cleaner.

Part details

Genuine BSH part 577170, also written 00577170

Multi-use wire shelf for the oven cavity

For Bosch, Siemens and Neff ovens

No model list on file, confirm by part number or E-Nr

Sliding the shelf in

Let the oven cool fully before handling shelves. Check which way up and which way round your old shelf sat, as most BSH racks have a front and back. Slide the new shelf onto the runners or levels until it stops, then pull it forward gently to check the stops catch. Wash it in warm soapy water before first use and keep harsh oven cleaner off the wire.

Questions about this part

How do I check this shelf suits my oven?

Look for the E-Nr on the rating label, usually on the frame of the oven opening when the door is open.
