Replacing the bottom element

Turn the oven off at the isolating switch or switchboard and let it cool completely. Depending on the model, the element is reached from inside the cavity under the floor panel or from the back once the oven is pulled out. Photograph the wiring before disconnecting it and fit each terminal to the same spade. Hard-wired ovens must be reconnected by a licensed electrician.
