Two black control knobs come in this genuine Fisher & Paykel kit, part 563285, made for OB60 series built-in ovens. It replaces the earlier number 561846. Listed models include the OB60SC7CEX1 and OB60SC7CEPX2, the OB60SC5CEX1 and OB60SC9DEX1, and the OB60B77CEX3 and OB60DDEX4, among others. Having two in the pack is handy when more than one knob has worn or faded.
Replacing worn or broken Fisher & Paykel oven knobs
The knobs turn the function selector and temperature control behind the panel, so a knob that cracks or slips makes the oven hard to set. Heat and cleaning sprays wear the markings and finish, and a split insert lets the knob spin without turning the switch. If the oven won't change function, a knob feels loose, or you can't read the settings any more, new knobs are usually the fix. If a new knob grips firmly and the setting still won't change, the switch behind it is the next thing to check.

Fitting the knobs
Make sure the oven is off and the panel is cool. Turn the old knob to the off position, then pull it straight off its spindle. Push the new knob on at the same off position so the markings line up, and turn it through each setting to confirm it engages the switch properly.
