The door seal is fitted around the front of the oven cavity, and the door closes against it to keep heat and steam inside. Fitting the oven door seal
Make sure the oven is off at the switchboard and completely cold. Open the door fully and note how the old seal is held, then start removing it at a corner. Fit the new seal from the top centre, working around each side so it sits evenly without stretching. Check the door closes smoothly with an even fit all the way around.
