Oven light not working?
The oven light lets you keep an eye on cooking through the door glass. On most ovens it comes on with any cooking function, and many also have a light-only setting. Replacing the top light
Let the oven cool and turn it off at the isolating switch before you start. Remove the shelves and unscrew the lens or cover if one is fitted, then take out the old light. Never run the oven with the lens missing. Fit the new 25W light, replace the cover and switch the power back on to test it.

Can I use a higher wattage globe?
Stick to the 25W rating. Oven lights are designed around cavity heat at a set wattage, and a stronger globe can overheat the fitting, the lens and the wiring behind it.
