That covers the CG604CLPX2 and CG604CNGX2 as well as the CG905CLPX2 and CG905CNGX2. Being the factory knob, it matches the others already on your cooktop.
Why a damaged gas cooktop knob should be replaced
On a gas cooktop the knob is more than trim. You push and turn it to open the gas valve and light the burner, then use it to set the flame. A knob with a split insert can slip on the valve spindle, making the burner hard to turn on, hard to hold in while it lights, and hard to settle on a steady simmer. A missing or broken knob also makes it easier to bump a burner on by accident. A new knob restores a proper grip on the spindle and a clear view of the setting.

Fitting the knob
Make sure every burner is off and the cooktop is cold. Pull the old knob straight up off its spindle, line up the flat on the spindle with the new knob and press it down until it seats. Turn it through its full range to check it moves smoothly and returns to off. If a valve feels stiff or you can smell gas, stop and call a licensed gas fitter.
