Wok burner clicking but not catching

Wok burners run larger flame rings, and the electrode has to sit in exactly the right spot to light them reliably. A cracked insulator, a bent tip or a lead that's breaking down lets the spark escape somewhere other than the burner, so you get clicking without ignition or only occasional lighting. Replacing the wok electrode

Isolate the electricity at the wall and shut the gas off at the isolation valve before starting. Remove the wok burner parts and lift the cooktop to get at the lead. Photograph its route to the ignition module, fit the new electrode and secure the lead in the same clips. In Australia, a licensed gas fitter should carry out this repair.
