Fisher & Paykel's genuine 529969 is the right hand lid yoke for the DD605 DishDrawer. In a DishDrawer, the lid comes down onto the tub to seal it during a wash, and the yokes are part of the mechanism that carries it. The left hand yoke is a separate part, 529970. Our records name the DD605 directly, so check that model and your product code before ordering.
DishDrawer lid not sealing or drawer leaking?
When a DishDrawer starts a program, the lid lowers onto the tub and seals it so water stays inside. The yokes are the side pieces that hold the lid and connect it to the lifting mechanism. A cracked or worn yoke can leave the lid sitting unevenly, so it doesn't seal all the way round. The drawer may then leak at the front, fail to hold water, show lid related faults or make knocking noises as the lid moves.

Fitting the right hand yoke
Turn the DishDrawer off at the wall and pull the drawer out. Remove the rack so you can see the lid and the yoke on the right side. Take a photo of how the yoke connects to the lid and mechanism before removing it. Fit the new yoke the same way, check the lid lowers evenly onto the tub, and run a short program to make sure it seals.

Do I need both lid yokes?
Only if both are damaged. 529969 is the right hand yoke, and the left hand one is sold separately as 529970. Inspect both while the drawer is apart, as they work together to hold the lid level.
