529827P is the genuine Fisher & Paykel inlet valve kit for DishDrawer dishwashers. The kit is built around the single inlet valve, part 529827, which controls the water coming in from your tap. When that valve fails, a drawer can refuse to start its wash, take far too long to fill, or keep letting water in when it shouldn't.
DishDrawer not filling or showing a water fault?
Each time a wash starts, the control energises the inlet valve and it opens to let mains water into the drawer. The valve has an electrical coil and a rubber diaphragm, and both can wear. A weak coil or a blocked inlet screen leads to slow or no filling, often with a water supply fault on the display. A diaphragm that no longer seals lets water creep in while the drawer is idle, which can show up as water sitting in the tub or a drawer that seems to overfill.

Before changing the inlet valve
Switch the DishDrawer off at the wall and close the water tap. The unit usually has to come out of its cavity to reach the valve, so have a towel ready for water in the hose. Photograph the wiring and hose layout, fit the new valve with any seals supplied in the kit, then open the tap slowly and check every joint before running a wash.
