Part 529730 is a genuine Fisher & Paykel double inlet valve, the solenoid valve that lets tap water into the machine on DD605, DD603 and DD60D series DishDrawers. It's also listed under the older numbers 526850 and 522146. Models on file include the DD605I and DD605FD, the DD60DCX9, DD60DCX7 and DD60DCW7, and the DD60DDFX7 and DD60DI7.
DishDrawer not filling or overfilling
The valve sits between the water supply hose and the dishwasher. When the controller calls for water, it energises a coil that pulls the valve open, and when the coil switches off a spring snaps it shut. With two coils in one body, a double valve can serve both drawers. A coil that burns out leaves a drawer that won't fill and shows a water fault. Debris on the inlet screen gives slow filling, while a valve that sticks open can let water keep trickling in and flood the drawer or the floor. A hairline crack in the body often shows as drips below the machine.

Replacing the double valve
Isolate power at the wall and turn the water off at the tap before touching the machine. Disconnect the inlet hose and keep a container handy, as some water will run out. Label each wire or take a photo so every coil goes back on the right terminal. Fit the new valve, reconnect the hose with its sealing washer and turn the tap on slowly while you watch for leaks.
