Fisher & Paykel 524922P is the genuine motor rotor assembly for later DishDrawer models in the DD60 series ending in 8 and 9. Examples include the DD60DAX8 and DD60DCX9, the DD60SCX9 and DD60D4NX9, and the DD60SI9 and DD60ST4NB9, covering both single and double drawer versions. It looks a lot like the older 524285P rotor, but the two won't swap between machines.
Symptoms of a worn DishDrawer wash motor rotor
Each drawer has its own wash pump, driven by a motor built into the base of the tub. The rotor is the magnetic part that turns inside that motor and spins the impeller, which pushes water up through the spray arm. When it's damaged, the drawer may run but leave food on the dishes, sound gravelly while washing, or stop part way through with a pump related fault. Debris such as broken glass, bones or fruit stones caught in the pump is a frequent culprit.

Before you start
Isolate power at the wall. Take the filter and spray arm out of the drawer to expose the pump. Clean out any debris you find around the impeller, as whatever damaged the old rotor can damage the new one. Seat the replacement squarely, reassemble the drawer and run a short program to confirm the wash sounds smooth.
