Why replace a broken DishDrawer crock insert

The crock insert is the section of the rack that holds plates and bowls on edge so water from the spray arm can reach both faces. When its tines snap or the clips that hold it to the rack break, dishes lean into each other, slide flat or drop onto the spray arm, which stops it spinning. Swapping the crock insert

Switch the DishDrawer off and slide the drawer fully open. Lift the rack out so you can see how the old insert clips on. Unclip it carefully, then press the new insert into the same positions until each clip seats firmly. Refit the rack and check the spray arm turns freely by hand before running a wash.
