Signs the left DishDrawer latch has failed
On a DishDrawer the latches keep the drawer closed in the cabinet while it washes. A worn or broken left latch tends to show up as a drawer that needs a firm push to close, one that won't hold on the left side, or a drawer that springs back out slightly after closing. A latch can also break if a heavy item drops on it or the drawer is slammed shut. While the drawer is open, inspect the part the latch catches on for damage too.

Fitting the left latch
Before you start, turn the power off at the wall. Hold the new part next to the old one to check it's the left hand version and the same shape. Remove the worn latch, keeping track of any screws or springs, and fit the new one in exactly the same way. Test by closing the drawer gently several times, then run a short cycle.
