DishDrawer won't latch or stay closed
Latches hold the drawer firmly shut while it's running, so the drawer stays sealed and doesn't creep open during the wash. They're used every time the drawer is opened and closed, and the plastic catches and springs inside can wear, crack or break. Typical symptoms are a drawer that won't click shut, one that rolls open by itself, uneven gaps at one side, or a rattle when the drawer is closed. A latch damaged by a hard slam often shows obvious cracks.

Changing a DishDrawer latch
Switch the DishDrawer off at the wall first. Compare the new latch with the old one before removing anything so you're sure you have the correct side. Note how springs or clips sit, fit the replacement in the same position and tighten any screws evenly. Close the drawer a few times to check it catches cleanly on that side.
