DishDrawer leaking from the front of the drawer?

A DishDrawer doesn't have a door in the usual sense. Instead, a lid above the wash tub closes down onto the drawer once it's shut, sealing it for the wash. The diaphragm in this kit is a flexible part of that lid sealing arrangement. Once it ages, splits or loses its flexibility, the lid may not seal evenly and water can escape. Typical symptoms are water dripping from the front of the drawer, puddles on the floor after a cycle, damp cabinetry beside the dishwasher, or water marks on the kickboard.

Replacing the lid seal diaphragm

Isolate power at the wall and shut off the water tap before you begin. Take photos as you dismantle the drawer and keep screws in labelled groups so it all goes back the same way. Fit the new diaphragm evenly with no twists or folds, as a crease can let water past. Run a short rinse program afterwards and watch the front edge of the drawer for drips.
