LG front loader not filling or leaving detergent behind
The two outlets on this valve feed water into different sections of the detergent dispenser, each controlled by its own coil. If one coil fails, the machine may fill slowly, display an IE inlet error, or leave detergent or softener sitting in the drawer. A valve that sticks open lets water keep running into the drum even with the machine off. Before replacing it, check that the tap is fully on and the filter screen in the valve inlet isn't blocked with grit.

Changing the inlet valve on an LG front loader
Unplug the washer and turn the tap off, then disconnect the inlet hose. Remove the top panel to reach the valve at the back. Label both wiring plugs and the two outlet hoses before removing them, so nothing gets crossed over. Undo the screws holding the valve to the cabinet, fit the new one and reconnect it the same way. Check for drips on the first fill.
