It suits LG washing machines, and its job is to get waste water out of the machine when the pump runs. With no compatible models on file, compare both numbers with the label on your old hose or the parts list for your LG washer before you order.

Signs the drain hose on your LG washer needs replacing

Most drain hose faults show up as water where it shouldn't be. A cracked or perished hose leaks during the pump-out, a loose or damaged end drips at the connection, and a hose that has been crushed behind the machine can restrict flow. Restricted flow means slow emptying, water left in the drum after the cycle and, on many LG machines, a drain fault code. Before replacing, pull the washer out and check the full length of the hose for kinks, flat spots and blockages such as lint or small objects.

Part details

Genuine LG part 5215ER2002K

Linked LG number 5214FR3018B

Drain hose assembly for LG washing machines

No model list on file, match the number before ordering

Fitting the LG drain hose

Switch the washer off at the wall and turn off the taps. Lay towels down, as the hose and pump will hold some water. Photograph the hose route and clamp positions, swap the hose over, and make sure each clamp sits past the raised lip of its spigot. If this is the outlet hose, hook the end securely into the standpipe or trough so it can't pop out. Run a drain cycle and check every joint.

Questions about this part

What is 5214FR3018B?

It's an LG number linked to this drain hose in our records.
