The kickstrip closes off the gap under the drawers at floor level, finishing the installation neatly and keeping the space under the dishwasher covered.

Replacing a damaged DishDrawer kickstrip

On an integrated DishDrawer the cabinetry panels cover the drawer fronts, and the kickstrip finishes off the base so it lines up with the rest of the kitchen. It also stops dust, toys and mop strings from disappearing under the dishwasher. Kickstrips get scuffed by feet and vacuum heads, cracked when the dishwasher is pulled out for service, or lost during a renovation. A new one is a simple way to tidy up the installation.

Part details

Genuine Fisher & Paykel kickstrip kit 512851

Made for integrated DishDrawer installations

Listed for the DD60DI9

Fitting the kickstrip

Turn the dishwasher off at the wall if you need to work close to the base.
