What the crock insert does in a DishDrawer
Plates, bowls and saucers rely on the crock insert's rows of tines to stand apart while the drawer washes. Spacing them this way lets water and detergent reach every surface. When tines snap off or the clips break, crockery tips over and nests together, which leaves food dried on between dishes. Clipping in the new insert
Turn the DishDrawer off at the wall before working on it. Pull the drawer out and remove the rack to get a clear view. Note where the front and back clips locate on the old insert, release it, then snap the new insert and clips into the same spots. Run a short rinse to confirm nothing touches the spray arm.
