Westinghouse WSE6070 and Electrolux ESE6078 and ESM6470 fridges with a plumbed water supply use triple water inlet valve 50291928005. This genuine three way valve lets the fridge control water to more than one feature from a single supply line. You may see it under the older numbers 1448731 or 1444202, and it's also on file for the RS643V, RS645V and ESM6477SA.
Signs of a faulty 3 way water valve in a Westinghouse or Electrolux fridge
Each section of the valve has its own coil, and the control board energises whichever one is needed to feed water to the dispenser, the ice maker or another water feature. If one coil fails, only that feature stops working, which is a handy clue when diagnosing. A valve that leaks internally can drip from the dispenser, overfill the ice tray or let water collect behind the fridge. Before replacing it, rule out a closed tap, low water pressure or a blocked water filter.

Fitting the triple valve
Turn off the water supply and unplug the fridge before starting, then slide the fridge out carefully. Mark or photograph each outlet tube and coil connector so they go back to the same port, since mixing them up sends water to the wrong place. After fitting, restore water and power, run each feature in turn and check every joint for leaks.
