Fridge alarm beeping or controls not responding?
This board sits in a small housing together with the buzzer, and it looks after the controls and the audible alarm on the fridge. When it fails you may get an alarm that beeps with the doors shut, an alarm that never sounds, or buttons and indicator lights that stop responding. Moisture getting into the housing and power surges are common causes. Before replacing it, rule out a door that isn't closing fully or a faulty sensor, as either can set off the alarm by itself.

Fitting the control assembly
Switch the fridge off at the wall and pull the plug before opening any covers. Photograph the plug positions and wire colours, then transfer the connections one at a time to the new assembly. Keep the housing dry and make sure its cover clips back fully. Restore power and test the controls and the door alarm. If you are not confident with electrical work, have an appliance technician fit it.
