Product details
This pack holds two genuine light diffusers, part 50248796000, the covers that sit over the lamps on the underside of the rangehood. They're listed for the Electrolux EFG750X/A, EFP6500X/A and EFP9500X/A, and they cross reference to 4145150 and the Ariston number C00058249. Replace a cracked, yellowed or missing cover to tidy up the hood and shield the lamp from grease.
Why rangehood light covers matter
Rangehood lamps sit right above the cooktop, in the path of steam and greasy air. The diffuser keeps that grease off the globe and lamp holder, softens the light over the cooking area and stops fingers touching a hot globe. Heat and age can make the cover brittle, and it may crack or drop out when someone changes a globe. Without a diffuser the lamp is left exposed, so it gets coated in grease and tends to fail sooner.

Fitting the light diffusers
Switch the rangehood off at the wall or isolator and let the lamps cool. Remove the old diffuser, or whatever is left of it, and check the globe and lamp holder while you have access. Wipe away grease around the opening, then fit the new cover into place until it sits firmly and evenly.
Questions about this part
How many diffusers come in the pack?
There are two in the pack, so you can replace a matching pair at once, or keep one as a spare if only a single cover has cracked.
