Product details
Genuine LG part 4681JB1029A is the motor assembly for the refrigerator fan in LG fridges. It drives the fan that moves cold air through the cabinet. LG's EAU60694507 motor is a known alternative to this part. No model list is on file for 4681JB1029A, so check the number on your old motor, or in your fridge's parts list, before buying.
LG fridge warm or noisy? Check the fan motor
LG frost free fridges use a fan to push air across the cold evaporator and around the compartments. If the fan motor fails, the cooling coil still gets cold but the air barely circulates, so the fridge section warms up while the freezer may stay partly frozen. You might also hear buzzing, clicking or a blade catching on ice, or notice the fan doesn't start when you press the door switch on models that work that way. Frost can block the blade, so check for ice first. A motor that won't spin freely or draws no current needs replacing.

Replacing the fan motor
Unplug the fridge and take the food out. Remove the shelves and the panel covering the fan, then disconnect the motor's plug and unscrew its mount. Transfer the fan blade if the new motor comes without one, pushing it on to the same depth. Refit the panel, plug in and check the fan runs.
