Bosch oven not heating on fan forced?
On fan forced and hot air settings, this element heats the air as the fan draws it in, giving even heat on every shelf. When the element fails, the oven may still heat on top and bottom settings but stay cold or slow on fan forced, and food takes far longer to cook. Elements often fail with a visible split, blister or burnt spot on the sheath, and a failed one can trip the safety switch when the oven is turned on. An electrician or technician can confirm it with a continuity test.

Fitting the fan forced element
Isolate the oven at the switchboard and let it cool. Built-in ovens are normally hard-wired, so in Australia the element should be fitted by a licensed electrician or qualified appliance technician.
