Fitting the bearing kit

Unplug the dryer and pull it out so you can get to the back and sides. On most dryers the drum has to come out to reach the bearing, so take photos as you go and keep screws sorted by location. Clean any lint and old grease from the bearing area. Once it's back together, turn the drum by hand to check it runs smoothly, then do a test run with an empty load.
