It replaces the earlier number 421841P. The rods hang the outer bowl and absorb its movement, so a worn set is the usual reason a machine starts thumping during spin.

Fitting the suspension rods

Unplug the machine and turn off both taps. The rods hook into the top corners of the cabinet and into brackets on the bowl, so the top deck needs to come up to reach them. Swap one rod at a time so the bowl stays supported, and make sure each one seats fully in its socket. Finish with an empty spin to check the bowl hangs level and runs quietly.

Not always. WA7560E1 and WA8560E1 were built in several versions, and the ones with product codes 92262-B or 93261-B use a different rod, 430055P. WA1068G1 with product code 93265-B is also different. Check the product code on the compliance label.
