This genuine Fisher & Paykel motor controller, part 421232NAP, is a 230V service module made for the Australian and New Zealand market. It's on file for the WL70T60CW1 and WL70T60DW1, plus the WL80T65CW1 and WL80T65DW1 top load washers. The controller drives the washer's direct drive motor, so when it fails the machine usually won't wash or spin at all.
F&P top loader not spinning or showing a motor fault
The motor controller powers the motor windings in sequence, using signals from the rotor position sensor to time each pulse. A failed module can leave the washer filling but never agitating, stopping with a fault code, beeping without starting, or tripping the power. Water getting onto the board and power surges are frequent causes, so look for leaks above the controller before fitting the new one, or the replacement may go the same way.

Fitting the motor controller
Unplug the washer before touching any electronics, and give it a few minutes for stored charge to drain away. Photograph the plugs on the old module, then move them across one at a time. Handle the new board by its edges and keep it dry. After fitting, run a short wash to check fill, agitate, drain and spin all work.
