AquaSmart washer knocking or off balance?
On these AquaSmart machines the outer tub is held in the cabinet by suspension straps that keep it centred while the bowl spins. Over time the moulded straps can stretch, crack or snap, especially in machines that regularly wash heavy or uneven loads. Once that happens, the tub sits off centre and swings too far, so the machine thumps against the cabinet, moves across the floor or stops with an out of balance error. Because all four straps age together, replacing the full set restores even support and stops one new strap taking all the load.

Changing the suspension straps
Disconnect the power and turn off the taps before opening the cabinet. Photograph how each old strap is attached at the top and bottom, then replace them one at a time so the tub stays supported. Make sure each new strap is seated fully in its mounts with no twists. Finish with a spin on a small load to confirm the tub runs steadily.
