Fitting the safety hose
Turn off the tap and switch the dishwasher off at the wall before you start. The hose's wiring runs inside the sheath back to the appliance, so the connection inside the machine is part of the job. Take photos before unplugging anything. Fit a new tap washer if one is supplied, tighten by hand plus a little more, and check for drips during the first fill. If the connection is hard-wired, use a licensed electrician.
