Use them to label replacement knobs, or to refresh markings that have worn away, so each control clearly shows which burner or hotplate it runs. It's a small part, but clear markings help anyone using the cooktop pick the right control the first time.

Why knob markings matter on a cooktop

Universal knobs need to suit many different cooktops, so they don't come marked for any one layout. Without markings it's easy to turn on the wrong zone, leave a burner running, or heat an empty hotplate. Printed markings on older knobs also fade with heat and scrubbing until they can't be read. A sticker set lets you mark each knob for its position, so the controls on the panel match what's under the pan. For a household with visitors, kids learning to cook or anyone with poor eyesight, clear labels make the cooktop safer to use.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux part 4055994901

Sticker set for universal knobs

Label replacement knobs or refresh worn markings

Applying the stickers

Make sure the cooktop is off and completely cool. Clean each knob with warm soapy water, then rinse and dry it fully so no grease is left behind.
