A regulator holds the gas pressure steady at the level the burners are designed for. Electrolux's description doesn't say whether a hose is included or which gas type, natural gas or LPG, it's set for, so please confirm with us before ordering.

What a gas regulator does on a cooker

Gas arrives from the street supply or a bottle at a pressure that varies with demand, the weather and the supply. The appliance regulator smooths that out and delivers a steady pressure to the burners, so flames stay the right size and the burners give their rated heat. A faulty regulator can cause weak or lazy flames, burners that won't stay lit, flames that are too high or noisy, yellow tips, or a gas smell around the connection. Any gas smell needs prompt attention from a licensed gas fitter.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux part 4055981924

Gas regulator for a stainless steel hose connection

For Electrolux group gas cooking appliances

Hose and gas type not stated, confirm before ordering

Installation by a licensed gas fitter

Gas regulators and hoses must be installed by a licensed gas fitter in Australia.
