Fitting the timer kit
Turn the oven off at the isolating switch or switchboard before removing the control panel, and use a licensed electrician for hard-wired appliances. Photograph the panel, the old timer and any wiring before you take anything apart. Fit the new timer and any brackets from the kit in the same position, refit the knob and test it at a setting above 15 minutes.

Why doesn't the timer ring for short times?
This timer only rings on settings over 15 minutes. For anything shorter, turn the knob past 15 first and then wind it back to the time you want. It will then count down and ring as normal.
