This genuine oven cavity seal is a one piece, 1530mm gasket with five clips, sold as part number 4055942991 and also listed as C12132. It suits a big range of Chef and Electrolux ovens, including the FEO1, FEO2 and FEO3 series, EWOCE and EWOCL models, the EOC670S, the EXC640K and EXC640S, and 632E20 and 639E20 units.
Oven losing heat around the door? Replace the seal
This seal clips around the oven cavity opening, and the door closes against it. It keeps the heat inside, which helps the oven reach temperature and cook evenly, and it stops hot air escaping onto the knobs and benchtop. Years of high heat make a seal go hard and flat, and it can tear, fray or pull away from its clips. Watch for heat or steam escaping around the door, food cooking unevenly near the front, longer preheat times, or a seal that hangs loose.

Fitting a clip-in oven seal
Turn the oven off at the isolating switch and wait until it is cold. Opening the door wide or lifting it off gives better access. Pull the old seal's clips out of their holes one at a time and note where the ends meet. Push each clip of the new seal firmly into the same holes and ease the seal into the corners without stretching it. Close the door and check it seals evenly.
