4055921466 Genuine Aluminium Rangehood Filter 486 x 194mm for Electrolux Group Rangehoods, Metal Grease Filter

Genuine Electrolux part 4055921466 is an aluminium rangehood filter with an actual size of 486 x 194mm. It replaces a metal grease filter that has bent, torn or become too clogged to clean. The filter suits an Electrolux group rangehood that takes this size, but no model list is held, so measure the old one carefully and compare its shape and catch before ordering 4055921466.

Weak rangehood extraction or grease drips? Time for a new filter

Aluminium filters sit across the intake of the rangehood and catch airborne grease while letting air through to the fan. They can usually be washed, but every wash and every layer of baked-on fat takes a toll. Over time the mesh clogs or distorts and the frame can warp so it no longer seals against the hood. Symptoms include a fan that sounds louder but pulls less steam, cooking smells that hang around, and greasy drips from the canopy. Grease that gets past a damaged filter collects in the motor and ducting, raising the fire risk.

Before fitting the new filter, wipe the filter rails and catch clean. Push the back edge in first, then lift the front into place until the catch clicks. Run the fan briefly to make sure nothing rattles.
