More than 60 models are listed, among them the Westinghouse WRF600, WRF611 and WRF616 series, the WRG600 and WRH600 models, and the RFC600, RCN6 and RDN6 ranges.
Rangehood filter clogged, damaged or missing
This layered filter traps grease from cooking vapour before it reaches the fan and ducting. Over time the layers load up, and the rangehood gets louder while pulling less smoke and steam off the cooktop. Regular cleaning helps, but filters eventually bend, lose their shape or have layers that separate, and they stop sealing properly in the frame. A damaged or missing filter lets grease coat the motor, which is a fire risk and shortens its life. Swap it out when cleaning no longer brings it back.

Fitting the new filter
Turn the rangehood off and let it cool. Release the catch on the old filter, support it as it drops and slide it out of the frame. Measure it against 553 x 316mm to confirm the size. Fit the new filter by locating the back edge first, then push it up until the catch clicks. Check how many filters your rangehood takes, as wider models may use more than one.
