Swapping the filter

Turn the rangehood off and let the lamps cool. Release the old filter with its catch, supporting it so it doesn't drop onto the cooktop, and note how many filters your hood takes. Wipe the grease from the underside of the hood while the filter is out, then fit the new filter the same way round as the old one and press it in until the catch holds.
