Models on file include the RRC600, RRC900, RRC630, RFC602, RGN6 and RDHR6 series, and the Westinghouse WRH600U, WRH900U, WRG605I and WRG907I. The number 0600001017 is linked to the same cover.
Why replace a broken rangehood light cover
The diffuser sits over the rangehood lamp, spreading the light evenly across the cooktop and shielding the globe from grease, steam and splashes. Heat from the lamp and the cooking below makes older covers brittle and discoloured, and they often crack or drop out when the filters are taken down for cleaning. Without a cover, grease coats the globe and holder, the bare globe is easy to knock and the light glares in your eyes. A new lens brings back soft, even light over the cooktop and keeps the lamp area cleaner.

Fitting the light cover
Switch the rangehood off at the wall or isolating switch and let the lamp cool, as rangehood globes get very hot. Remove the old cover or any broken pieces carefully and check the globe and holder while you are there. Fit the new diffuser in the same position as the original, then restore power and check the light works.
