Fan oven not heating? Signs the fan element has failed
In fan forced mode, the fan draws air across this element and pushes the heat around the cavity for even cooking. Fitting a fan forced element
Many ovens are hard-wired, so isolate the oven at the switchboard and have a licensed electrician do the work where required. Let the oven cool, remove the fan cover, then undo the element screws and ease it forward. Photograph the terminals before disconnecting, fit the new element, and run the oven on fan bake to check it heats evenly.
