Signs your WFM1810 freezer thermostat has failed
Inside the freezer, the thermostat senses the cabinet temperature, usually through a capillary tube, and closes its contacts to start the compressor when things warm up. Fitting the freezer thermostat
Switch off at the wall and pull the plug before removing the control housing. Note which terminal each wire goes to, or photograph them, before unplugging the old thermostat. If it has a capillary tube, feed the new one along the same path and clip it where the old tube sat, because its position decides how the freezer reads temperature. Restore power, set the control mid-range and check the temperature after 24 hours.
