It is an Electrolux group spare, but the appliance it belongs to and the models it suits are not on file. That makes the code on your old valve the best guide. If it shows 4055902730 or Y98-0774-X, this is the right part. Otherwise send us the appliance model and product number and we will check it for you.

Matching an Electrolux valve set by part number

Valve sets control flow inside an appliance, opening and closing on demand from the controls. Because this listing does not name the appliance, use the part itself to confirm the match. Check the labels and stampings on the old valve, count the ports and electrical terminals, and compare the mounting bracket. Common reasons to replace a valve include leaks at the body, a valve that sticks open or shut, and a coil that has failed electrically. If the numbers on your valve do not match 4055902730 or Y98-0774-X, ask before ordering.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux part 4055902730

Also referenced as Y98-0774-X

Supplied as a valve set assembly

Appliance and models not on file, match by part number

Before you fit the valve set

Isolate the appliance at the wall, and turn off the water or gas supply if the valve is connected to one.
