Fitting the vapour protector

Make sure the burners are off, the gas is turned off at the bottle and the barbecue is cold. Lift off the hotplate or grill to reach the old protector. Scrape grease from the burner box, then sit the new protector in the same position over its burner, checking it's centred and stable. Refit the cooking surface and run the barbecue on low for a few minutes before cooking.
