Swapping the lighting harness
Disconnect the barbecue's lighting from power and turn off the gas before you start. Photograph the route of the old harness and every connection. Remove it one plug at a time and fit the new harness along the same path, keeping it clear of burners and hot surfaces with the original clips. If the lighting is hard-wired to mains power, a licensed electrician must do the job.
