Fitting the door lock

Switch off at the wall before starting. Depending on the model, the lock sits in the top of the door or in the frame above it, and you may need to remove the outer door panel to reach it. Photograph the wiring before you pull off the connector. Fit the new lock, reconnect the wiring exactly as it was, then close the door gently to check it catches before running a program.
