When a clip snaps, the shelf can tip forward or slide out under load. Clips are shaped to suit particular shelf rails, so check your old clip against this number before ordering. We don't have a list of fridge models for 4055763371 on file.

When a fridge shelf clip needs replacing

Shelf clips lock a shelf to its rails or supports so it stays level and can't be pulled out by accident. Cold plastic becomes brittle, so clips often break when a heavy dish is dropped onto the shelf or when the shelf is forced out for cleaning. Signs include a shelf that sits lower on one side, rocks when touched, slides forward when you pull out a container, or has a visible gap where a clip used to be. A new clip is a quick fix that brings the shelf back to level and makes it secure again.

Part details

Genuine Electrolux part 4055763371

Shelf clip for an Electrolux group fridge

Holds the shelf secure on its rail or support

Model fit not on file, compare with your old clip

Fitting a new shelf clip

There's no need to switch the fridge off for this, but work quickly to keep the cold in.
