Replacing the evaporator fan
Unplug the fridge or switch it off at the wall, and move food to an esky. The evaporator fan is usually behind a cover inside the cabinet. Remove the cover screws, note how the fan is mounted and how the wiring is routed, then unplug the connector. If the coil behind is heavily iced, let it thaw fully before refitting. Fit the new fan, clip the wires away from the blade and run the fridge to confirm airflow.
