Top rack dishes not getting clean?
The upper spray arm washes everything on the top basket, so it needs to stay level and turn freely. Its support holds the arm in position and lines it up with the water feed. If the support cracks, wears or loses its locking tabs, the arm can wobble, drop, jam against the basket or fall off altogether. You'll notice dirty cups and glasses on the top rack, a knocking noise during the wash, or the arm lying loose in the bottom of the tub. Check the arm and its support for cracks and food blockages whenever you clean the filters.

Fitting the spray arm support
Turn the dishwasher off and pull out the top basket. Remove the upper spray arm, usually by unscrewing a retaining nut or twisting it free, and note how the old support is oriented. Fit the new support, refit the arm and spin it by hand to check it turns without catching. Run a rinse cycle to confirm everything works.
