Product details
Part 4055746426 is a genuine storage basket for Westinghouse chest freezers, listed for the WCM1400WE and WCM2000WE. It sits at the top of the cabinet so smaller items stay within easy reach instead of sinking to the bottom of the freezer.
Why replace a chest freezer basket
Without a basket, everything in a chest freezer ends up in one deep pile, and the item you want is always at the bottom. The basket gives you a top layer for things you use often, like ice packs, frozen vegetables or bread, and lifts out or slides aside to reach the rest. Baskets get bent from overloading or go missing when a freezer changes hands. A basket that no longer sits square can also stop the lid closing properly, letting warm air in and frost build up.

Fitting the basket
No tools are needed. Lift the old basket out, wipe the ledges or rails it rests on, and set the new basket in place so it sits evenly. Do not pile food above the rim, and check the lid closes and seals fully before you walk away.
